I’ve been focussing on rest during August- and now September is approaching I have got a “back to school” vibe.
During August I have been working, but I took my foot off the gas with any additional stuff, just seeing clients, writing this blog of course and doing enough admin to tick over and now I feel ready to jump back in.
The great thing is that by taking this time out, the things I’ve been holding off on are flowing more easily.
I had a speech to write, and because I’ve been thinking about it in quiet moments, without feeling guilty about not sitting down and doing it, it just went on the page in no time.
I’m hoping the same will be true of the web page I’ve got to do. I won’t need to force it because I’ve taken time and space to refine it in my mind.
So, the period of rest has been productive. Something to be built into life on a more regular basis.
